Probiotics, Supplements and Yeast overgrowths…

ARE PROBIOTICS RIGHT FOR YOUR FAMILY?

I tried using many types of probiotics and supplements over the years on my kids, clients and myself… I’ve done candida diets and yeast cleanses and even tried adding more yeast in and other crazy things!

IMG_3264.JPG

The balance within your body such as yeasts, funguses, worms, parasites, mucus, acids, protein plaques, microbes, virus etc….must get detoxed and removed out of your body to get to the root of health. In order to change the environment in the body we must clean out the old not just ‘add’ in new. Supplementing with “pills” in a body with a backed up septic tank will not get you true health.

When the body fails to function in areas such as digestion, absorption, utilization and elimination. Trying to fix the problem with an isolated pill, supplement or adding large amounts of one bacteria and one mineral will not bring the body balance…. especially as they are none organic in it’s holistic structure (no longer a whole food but a part of a food that has been chemically changed and isolated) is only going to feed the body with just another foreign invader creating more imbalance and stress. I think of the phrase in movies when they say ‘magic comes with a price’…well so does supplementation….

The body is designed to utilize holistic chemistry so thinking a supplement created in a lab by big pharma will do more then what a whole organic fresh ripe piece of fruit can’t do….is not thinking from a place that nature provides us with all we need, and it does!

Supplements suppress the function of the endocrine glands and throw the body out of balance…

‘Probiotics are dead fermented chemistry not designed for the body’ says Dr Herbet Shelton. The body is designed to create healthy gut bacteria from the foods we are designed to eat and our environment. When we detox the body and turn on the endocrine glands, everything goes back to balance. When we get back to nature and simply eat the foods our bodies are biologically designed to eat….the body will create healthy natural bacteria to fight of the microbe that cause obstructions naturally.

Probiotics and fermented foods like Kefir and Sauerkrauts only aggravate and make candida symptoms worse…I know that it controversial, as they are marketed as gut healing foods. Candida thrives on fermentation. Candida or (yeast) gets out of control in the body through fermentation so why add more in? When you have weak adrenals then you are likely to have blood sugar problems. When your not metabolizing sugars well, fermentation takes place. The fungal family comes in and feasts on the fermentation….so the food you eat is just feeding them not your cells. Why give the body more fermentation if you may already have a sugar metabolism issues creating the yeast overgrowth in the first place? We need some left in the body but for it to be at blanched ratio…

So if you have skin issues, weak yellow brittle nails, dry hair, bloating, gas or loose stools…you have a fungal imbalance.

The simpler we can look out how the body is designed to function optimally the more we will understand that supplementing is another way of masking a symptom and not addressing the root cause….just like prescription drugs!

IMG_3263.JPG

Often these supplements are made from sister or cousin companies of BIG PHARMA…..just think about that for a moment with where the motivation comes from?

The best way to get rid of yeast overgrowths is to work on the adrenal glands with herbs/homeopathy and a raw living foods diet high in ripe fruits and the correct food combinations.  If you think you have a candida overgrowth you should also avoid or never eat starches processed or in there whole food state. Starches are fungal formers and candida loves foods that create a lot of mould, such as starches and dairy products. If you have candida I would suggest keeping your fats to below 5 % of your nutritional plan too as the fats in the system will stop fruits being digested, and cause fermentation of the healthy fruits. High fruits, low protein and low fats are the best way to heal the body.

It’s very common for someone to crave breads, nuts and cheese when they have fungal problems….because the yeast thrive on these foods because the fermentation process takes place very quickly.

The goal to get healthy and to create balance in the body is to alkalize the body and to get the kidneys filtering and everything will come into balance on its own…not needing one extra mineral…with the exception of magnesium due to our soils and possible B12 until your body can utilise it from the organic fruits and vegetables and produce it in your gut.

Fruits, berries, melons, greens and herbs that promote detoxification is the best way to bring balance and alkalinity to the body with a daily mediation practice to boost your immune system and complementary remedies like essential oils, homeopathy and herbs. Yeast, parasites, fungusus cannot thrive in an alkaline body, nether can any pathogens and foreign invaders and viruses.

Dr Robert Morse teaches that there is only 2 sides of chemistry and that’s acid and alkaline. When you get on the alkaline side of chemistry and you detox the acids that are suppressing the lymphatic system, blocking the flow of energy and causing disease… then “nutritional ” supplementation becomes a void modality that was created by a mind and industry that doesn’t understand the lymphatic system and true healing like we do in Natural Hygiene.

It’s not what we add in that creates a healthy body it’s what we eliminate that creates a thriving healthy body with balance.

Detoxification is the best way to get to the root of the problem and if we are stuck on supplementation with PILLS,  powders,  supplements and thinking that we are adding in “Nutrition” …thinking that’s going to clean up the problem!  Then we have been fully mistaking by so called “Health Experts” that are thinking no different then a medical Doctor that prescribes a drug to treat a symptom, not addressing the cause.  So many of these healthy natural supplements and nutritional meal replacement systems are produced by big pharmaceuticals companies that make the medicines and drugs. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LONG TERM HEALTH JUST ABOUT MAKING MONEY AND TEMPORALLY GIVING YOU THE SENSATION OF HEALTH.

The best supplement you can give your body is creating kidney filtration to drain the waste, so that he body can go on to thrive in proper homeostasis, balance and alkalinity.  This takes time I have been on this journey for years….I hold strong that I am in it for the long term health and not quick gains. I picture myself a health 60 year old and smile with knowing this is the right path to healing.

Add in alkaline nutrition and stop putting acids in your body and you will never need an expensive supplement to mask a symptom and create an imbalance not aligned with nature…

Got skin Issues?

Acne, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, cold sores, pimples, dermatitis, pigmentations….

The lymphatic system play a huge part when it comes to the skin.
If you are struggling with skin problems understanding the cause of why you have this issue will help you heal from it. Acidosis is when the lymphatic system is backed up with acids in the body….thus the root of all obstructions that cause disease. This is created by having an acidic lymph system that has become stagnant and suppressed by these acids because the wastage got to full, creating a lot of metabolic waste and destruction in the human body.
The lymphatic system is the largest fluid in the human body. Dr Morse teaches that the blood fluid is the kitchen and the lymph fluid is the septic tank. He often says…Nobody poops in the kitchen right?

He is right… when the trash in the kitchen gets backed up it gets cleaned out and disposed. This is how the blood and lymphatic system work together the blood dumps any metabolic waste in the sewer system (the lymphatic system) every septic tank has a valve so you can drain the waste well so does the human body. The kidneys are the valves to drain this waste stored in the lymphatic system. When the kidneys get clogged up with mucus and acids then the septic tank gets to full. Then these acids will chew on every tissue, gland and organ in the human body. This will create a whirlwind of symptoms and if the kidneys don’t drain the acids they will come out through your skin YOUR WHITE FLAG OF YOUR BODY. You might have heard that your skin is a reflection of your insides….or that your skin is a tip of the ice burg below!

Which is why no amount of fancy products or expensive creams or topical steroid creams will fix an internal issue. You must drain the wastage from the body too allow it to heal….

A REAL LIVING FOODS LIFESTYLE will do that high in fruits, low in fats and some herbs and greens and support you.

Skin is your white flag 🏳 to your bodies health. ACNE, ROSACEA , ECZEMA, PSORIASIS, SPOTS, RASHES ect… No topical cream potion or lotion will address it unless you address the root cause.

SO WHAT IS THAT?

Acids in the body! An acidic body thus an inflamed body which then causes too much mucus to be produced which causes the lymphatic system to become backed up and ooze out of the skin bringing the acids with it (the clever body is trying to eliminate the build up of waste and toxins) THE SKIN IS YOUR LAGEST ELIMINATION ORGAN!! It is simply lifting out what’s trapped inside…

So you see a cream on the outside will NOT address the inside. Only proper stress management, cellular detoxification with fasting, herbs, essential oils and FRUITS will empty the body to allow the body to heal itself and return balance to allow you to be more mindful of what you put in again. Detoxification needs to be done but it doesn’t last forever you can return to a healthy balanced plant lifestyle afterwards BUT IT TAKES TIME 🥗

WHAT CAUSES ACIDS TO BUILD UP AND THUS CLOG THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM?

•Dairy from all animals even fermented kefirs and yogurts (big one)
•Eggs (big one)
•Meat and fish (big one)
•Oils like coconut, olive, sesame, peanut, macadamia, avocado ect (big one)
•Processed foods like flours and products made from them even GLUTEN FREE
•Grains and products made from them EVEN HOMEMADE ORGANIC
•Excess fats, nuts and seeds
•Beans and legumes
•Stress
•Overworking
•A negative Mindset and overthinking
•Anger and especially trapped anger
•Flying
•Trapped trauma
•Childhood trauma
•Lack of sleep
•Chemicals and toxins
•Medicines
•Vaccines
•Fluoride
•Poor food combinations
•Over eating
•Not removing waste from the intestines and lymphatic system
•Spices and vinegars
•Salt

SO WHAT DO YOU DO?

•Transition to a plant only diet
•Increases fruits
•Decrease processed foods
•Remove oils and excess fats keeping them to 5-10% from natural whole fats like avocado
•Remove toxins and chemicals from your self care and home and environment
•Work on mindset and mindfulness and stress relief
•Work on trauma release and energy work
•Remove mucus and acid forming foods
•Build up to a cellular detox
•Connect to nature
•Move the body to pump your lymphatic system
•Breath deeply
•Introduce fasting slowly

NOTE: If your skin is getting worse on a raw food fruit based diet,  it’s not the diet that’s causing the issue, but a systemic underlined issue being brought to the service. The fruits are stirring up these acids so that the body can eliminate them. TIME PATIENCE and FAITH BECAUSE the kidneys are so toxic and damaged from the mucus, pus and acid forming foods such as all processed food, beans, grains, dairy, meat and starches that it sometimes takes more then fruit and veg to get them cracked open so they can filter…that’s when homeopathy and herbs can help.

So why does the skin take a beating when eating such a healthy alkaline and hydrating foods? Fruits are proven to have the most nutrition out of any food we have access to and are the highest antioxidant content in foods sources. So aren’t antioxidants known to improve skin tone?

It’s a compromise lymphatic system that creates skin problems, but it’s not the skin having a reaction to the fruit, but it’s the acids coming out through the skin because of blocked channels such as the (kidneys) you get your kidneys to filter these acid waste out that are locked in a hardened lymphatic system (I no longer believe in food intolerances which implies we are reacting but shouldn’t be… just foods we should eat and foods that detox us, and “foods” that are not designed for us). When you get out this backed up sewage you will not experience the skin problems, head problems, nervous system problems and GI track related problems. Your skin is the largest eliminative organ in the human body. If you fail to get your Kidneys to filter you will experience skin related problems from the acids that have been locked in your body for decades. You’re not going to have pretty skin when sewage is being pulled from every orifice of the body and must come through the skin if not through the kidneys.

It’s very important to understand detoxification and know what to expect when you go on all fruit diet, especially coming off of standard western diet. Focus on the kidneys, and transition properly and you shouldn’t run into these problems.

All fruit diets should be enough to get the kidneys to filter so that you don’t run into these problems. However the level of kidney damage due to high protein and fats diets that we’ve been convinced are the right way to eat…have damage the kidneys in such a powerful way, that fruits alone cannot crack them open to filter these waste, despite the fact they are the most powerful and electrical high vibrational foods for moving obstructions. Thankfully we have the fruits to brake down these hardened acid obstructions that are chewing on are cells, organs, glands, tissues and blood, and we have (herbs, homeopathy and dry fasting) to open these plaque and damaged kidneys up so they can eliminate these waste, and pull them out. We then can go on, and experiences the life changing effects the fruits bring in are lives. Get your kidneys to filter, and stop blaming the underlined cause the fruits expose. Help your kidneys and get them to heal with fruits, herbs and dry fasting.

Still drink coffee?. . .’oh just the one’ THINK AGAIN. . .

Do you think coffee is harmless to your adrenals?

Not just that 1 cup you have surely?

below I will help show you what that 1 cup of coffee even the black without milk will do to your adrenals and the effects that has on your entire system.

images.jpeg

13 Little Known Facts About Coffee oh and Cacao!!

1. Caffeine is an alkaloid that the coffee plant uses to kill bugs, which eat its’ seeds which it wants birds to spread. The coffee plant also uses caffeine in the coffee pods to kill surrounding plants, so the coffee plant can attain more sunlight and grow larger. Caffeine is a pesticide, which causes genetic termination in living cells that come into contact with it.

2. MRI images taken before and after 1 cup of coffee showed a decrease in blood flow to the brain by 45%. http://abcn.ws/2ipmLj7

3. Brain imaging studies of chronic coffee drinkers showed they presented the same degradation of their brains as chronic alcoholics, cigarette smokers, Parkinson’s patients and marijuana users. http://dailym.ai/1qjSqi0

3. Coffee can cause an urge to move your bowels because this is one way the body tries to eliminate poison from the system fast. Coffee enemas are not a healthy practice and are not recommended unless you have stage 4 cancer and need a fast detox!

4. Coffee increases energy via the human fight or flight metabolic response, because the body is afraid of the caffeine based poison. Coffee doesn’t give energy, it removes it from the body. The energy a person feels when they drink coffee is the body going into overdrive because caffeine is a poison and all poisons activate an energy release in the body. (fight or flight) Coffee removes energy from the system making you need more and the cycle of addiction flows.

5. When the fight or flight response is triggered in the body, the lower IQ centers of the brain are activated as well as hormonal systems in control of aggression, violence, irrational and illogical decision making, jealousy, rage, anger, fear and paranoia.

6. When measured, 1 coffee activated the fight and flight response for 3 consecutive weeks, even though no other caffeine was consumed after that 1 cup of coffee. This means the most primal/low IQ centers of the brain (the limbic system) are activated for 3 weeks after consuming one cup of coffee, even if no other caffeine is consumed in that 3 week period. Making decisions through the limbic center of the brain (our caveman portion) is also proven to lead to chaotic life situations because of the low mental processing capabilities that area of the mind is famous for.

7. When coffee (caffeine) is consumed, the limbic part of the brain is hyper activated and the higher learning centers of the mind inhibited. The limbic part of the brain is only concerned with sex, reproduction, protection of territory, food acquisition and personal safety. The limbic portion of the brain is the most primitive and least developed portion of the mind complex. When you want to out smart or dominate another person, it’s best that their limbic system is activated, because it brings them to a mental state equal to that of a child.

8. The birth control pill inhibits clearing of ingested caffeine. This effect is increased dramatically by alcohol or pain killer use, therefore causing many cases of caffeine poisoning, which get treated as other things once the person reaches the hospital.

9. Coffee is proven to cause an enlarged prostate, high anxiety, insomnia, depression, birth defects, pain syndromes, unnatural breathing patterns, brain damage, hyperactivity, learning disorders (from the brain damage) behavior disorders, fatigue, certain types of cancer, Crohns, IBS, colitis, heart disease, headaches, PMS, increased incidence of muscle and tendon injury, joint pain, carpel tunnel…and that’s a short list.

10. Coffee causes fat gain and cellulite because by triggering the body’s flight or fight system (which any poison or threat does), eventually changes the body’s primary fuel source requirement to one of fat. When the body is threatend, it prefers fat as its’ primary fuel source, over sugar or protein. Constant activation of the body’s fight or flight system (via the daily ingestion of caffeine poison) aids in a metabolic shift to fat storgage and fat conservation, because again the body prefers fat as a fuel source when fighting any toxic intruder….. because fat contains 9 calories per gram for the fight, as oppsed to 4 calories per gram housed by sugar and protein. Welcome to the land of coffee (caffeine) induced fat gain, weight gain and cellulite. This is true for Cacao/chocolate too…read more next!

11. Coffee (caffeine) blocks iron absorption, causing the vast majority of anemia today. http://bit.ly/2qKSqwh The entire threat of caffeine in general includes caffeine teas, chocolates, caffeine based energy drinks, caffeine based pre work out drinks and over 2000 over the counter and prescription medications that PURPOSELY include caffeine either from chocolate or coffee. Medical doctors aren’t generally aware of the symptoms of caffeine poisoning and also only get paid when you’re sick, so keeping you on the coffee/caffeine train makes your return visits a guarantee!

12. Here we have an article explaining clearly why caffeine destroys human potential within the brain, leading lower life performance and achievement on all levels. This is an agenda explained below. Hot chocolate, caffeine laced energy drinks, chocolate and sugary sodas of course are gate way caffeine drugs for children…. towards their future coffee addictions as adults (which is why I never have knowingly given my children chocolate and do not recommend you ever do either.) Coffee shops are everywhere it is big business keeping everyone addictions alive. There’s a reason for this. http://bit.ly/2rmyyRT

‘There’s absolutely no scientific evidence what so ever that coffee provides any health benefits to the human body,’

13. An investigation conducted by the author of the most extensive book on coffee ever written, reviewed almost every scientific research piece regarding coffee and his conclusion was that there’s absolutely no scientific evidence what so ever that coffee provides any health benefits to the human body, on any level, in anyway. He openly declares that any positive promotion of coffee consumption is a blatant lie, doing grave harm to our entire society. The publication of any positive effects of coffee are false and all can be traced back to a very powerful, covert and secret “coffee lobby”, which has both commercial and ruling family origins. The author reviews the research in the book at this added link. http://amzn.to/2ljosiy How many coffee shops have opened in your town in the last 20 years?

So why the lying about coffee? Think of government and how governing a brain damaged population is easier than governing a healthy population. Start there and keep connecting the dots. This documentary explains more. http://bit.ly/2rweFbZ Coffee is only one brain damaging weapon used against an uninformed. The 10 most popular brain damaging weapons used against us (in order of use) are:

  •  1) vaccines
  • 2) coffee and caffeine products
  • 3) alcohol
  • 4) medical drugs
  • 5) sugar/wheat/cow’s milk
  • 6) fluoride
  • 7) cigarettes
  • 8) processed junk foods and genetically modified foods
  • 9) EMF radiation from wireless devices
  • 10) chemtrails.

Coffee and caffeine products not only prime people to be overweight, sick and numb……they destroy the part of the brain that could warn the person that they’re becoming overweight, sick and dumb. This is how science is used against the slave. The best slave is a brain damaged slave, unable to think or care for themselves without the help of slave master. A helpless population guarantees a need for government. This is why the ruling families do everything in their power to create a helpless population, day in and day out. Governments exist because they perpetually create the conditions for their own existence. Ancient ruling families, who masquerade as modern altruistic governments, are not there to help the people progress, evolve or become more. You live on a chemically controlled slave based control grid. Coffee is just another poison that helps manufacture the low IQ and permanent ill health needed to maintain this control grid. Want to shut the human farm down and put slave master out of business? Reject the poisons!

This is good video explaining more…

Protein and Calcium on Raw Vegan Diet!

Protein is required for the development of the human body , but the protein consumed should be of the highest quality and is often misunderstood the amount we need per day. In a child it is around 15-20% per day and in an adult is 10-15% per day and in many cases much less. More proteiIn than this can cause inflammation in the body, more so if it is from animal products.

Other than Lychees ALL fruit and vegetables have all 8 Amino Acids (protein) and omega 3 fatty acids.

There are proteins in everything that grows as long as it’s not a refined food. But If some of our vegan foods don’t stack up against animal foods and are deficient in certain amino acids, they are compensated by their abundance in other goodies and eating verity will help overcome this.

shutterstock_174457016
Green leafy vegetables and small amounts of a variety of nuts, legumes, sprouts and seeds provide this high level of nutrients and protein.

EAT YOUR GREENS AND GET YOUR KIDS TO EAT THIER GREENS DAILY!

For example:

  • Spinach contains 49% calories from protein.
  • Kale contains 45% calories from protein.
  • Hemp seeds contain 22% calories from protein.
  • Sprouts 44% calories from protein, an excellent source of protein and B12 so perfect vegan food.

A pregnant and lactating woman can get all the protein she needs eating verity rich whole food, raw living vegan diet without deficiencies.

IMG_4570.JPG

Eating meat floods the body with protein waste products. The kidneys then need to eliminate these acidic wastes, requiring calcium as a buffer in the process, leeching calcium from the bones. Calcium is continually lost in the urinary waste, and may result in osteoporosis or bone loss. It has been showed now that people who consume dairy in large daily amounts over their lifetime tend to have osteoporosis. Contrary what we are taught!

Vegetable protein is much more easily absorbed into the bloodstream without the loss of calcium from eating animal protein. Animal-based protein places a great stress upon the liver and kidneys. This is a link to great explanation: https://www.facebook.com/DrGoldner/videos/1885607438132191/

Also excess proteins have a negative effect on calcium stores too because amino acids contain sulfur, which in turn affects the body’s pH balance. Excess Calcium prevents fat absorption within the gut. I suggest eating your calcium rich foods like kelp, dulse, celery, broccoli, figs, rhubarb and oranges away from fats and proteins will help and too little calcium will affect your bone and teethe health.

Increasing your B12 now will help with protein absorption rather than eating more protein, and K2 for teethe and bone health, as it acts like a public transportation system for calcium. You consume calcium through food like the rich foods above. Vitamin D from the sun ~ the body easily absorbs vitamin D with just 15 minutes of exposure to sunshine per day ~ triggers ergosterol, which is transformed into vitamin D, which helps us absorb calcium from the foods we consume directly into our bloodstream. This will help take the pressure of the body from excuse protein until you can transition to a low fat high carb raw vegan lifestyle.

Then vitamin K2 takes the calcium to where it needs to go. Without vitamin K2, calcium can end up hardening in your arteries as plaque, and deposits in the joints, arteries, kidneys, brain and elsewhere.

Often we seem to be low or high in calcium when in fact it is due to heavy metal that calcium gets drawn out of the bones and teeth and floats around the blood not being able to be utilised so is urinated out. This means it is present, but cannot be used properly. This condition causes symptoms of both deficiency and excess at the same time because there can be a deficiency of available calcium, and an excess of bio-unavailable calcium at the same time. I do not suggest calcium supplements. The body does not cope well with large amount of nutrients not in a whole foods form being dumped in to the body so doesn’t utilise it and excretes most out.

We should eat the food to which we are naturally adapted too which has ample amounts of protein, omega 3 fatty acids, nutrients, and essential carbohydrates. Fruits, vegetables, green leafy vegetables, sprouts, berries, sprouted legumes, nuts and seeds. Not animal flesh to get our protein.

Protein rich plant foods are:

  • spinach 49% calories from protein.
  • kale 45% calories from protein.
  • broccoli 45% calories from protein.
  • cauliflower 24% calories from protein.
  • green paper 22% calories from protein.
  • parsley 34% calories from protein.
  • cucumber 22% calories from protein.
  • lettuce 29% (let that sink in!) calories from protein.
  • cabbage 25% calories from protein.
  • tomatoes 18% calories from protein.
  • apricots 12% calories from protein.
  • peaches 9% calories from protein.
  • sunflower seeds 14% calories from protein.
  • watermelon 9% calories from protein.

Yes you can get protein from fruit!

Let’s compare that to animal products:

  • beef 25.8% calories from protein.
  • chicken 23% calories from protein.
  • eggs 12% calories from protein.

WHY RAW LIVING FOODS! For Healing Diseases and Autism. . .

What’s the nutritional difference between cooked and raw foods?

When you cook vegetables, you change their chemical composition making them unable to be utilised by the body. Depending on the method and time, cooking reduces the amount of antioxidants in the plants.
This is especially true for water-soluble and heat-sensitive nutrients, such as vitamin C, glucosinolate and polyphenols. Cooking can reduce a nutrient’s ease of absorption into the body, making them useless for the body and it becomes a mucus forming food making it toxic for the body and thus causing inflammation.
16425880_1937384009881484_8037353823920606020_n.jpg
We are all energy so eating foods high in energy, vitality and life force will help us have that energy and vitality ourselves. When you eat raw living alkalising foods you feel alive! The food moves through your body faster feeding your cells with high nutrients and a high water content hydrating you from the inside, better than plan water alone in some foods like cucumber, lettuce and watermelon. When you eat heavy, acidic, fatty cooked foods you want to sleep as your system is so overburdened and toxic it removes the energy and oxygen from the brain and muscles. And has to work hard to digest the heavy fatty foods sitting in the intestines, fermenting and dehydrating the body and causing an acidic state which leads to disease and cancer.

Food combining and why is it essential for health!-chart.
If your new to a plant based diet, even though you lose some nutrients value when cooking vegetables, I would still suggest building your vegetable intake up first moving to a 100% plant based diet and removing all animal products, with lightly steamed vegetables and greens. Then when you can and feel ready swapping cooked vegetables for as many raw vegetables as possible to help build your enzymes up in your gut and help PH balance your body, allowing for detoxification of the blood and lymphatic system – remembering fruit and raw vegetables and lots of greens are the only way to detox your body and remove heavy metals and mucus thus healing your body from disease and sickness. Cooked foods are mucus forming and lacking in enough nutrients to build your body to health. We are all so deficient these days with the quality of our soils, food, water and air . . . so to remove nutrients from our food by cooking it is not helpful. Also cooked foods are feeding the parasites and fungus our body are becoming imbalanced with because of it being to acidic. When the body is acidic and deficient in minerals and enzymes, diseases start and cells mutate into cancer. We want to make the body alkaline and thriving!

Knowing how detoxifying raw living foods are, start slowly when adding them in. Swapping 1 meal a day to a completely raw meal combined correctly, and build up. Or eating raw foods till dinner then a lightly steamed dinner. . . until you have regained enzymes to break the food down and the detox symptoms are manageable (this way of eating will not give you full healing properties as the cooked foods will stop you detoxifying fully). Or like me go 100% raw over night ride out the few days of detox and feel amazing and vibrant faster!

Either way increasing your raw greens, fruit and sweet young vegetables will benefit your body so much. You will see it in your skin, energy and vitality. If you can eat a food without doing anything to it bar peeling it then it’s a good raw food for the body. If you have to season it or cook it to make it palatable then it’s not our food.

Why Leafy Greens are so good for you and the Nutritional breakdown.

Not many foods can compare to the high nutritional value of leafy greens. Researchers are finding that eating your greens may be even more important than previously imagined. In putting together this article I found lots of quotes that stated “it was common for our ancient ancestors to eat up to six pounds of leaves per day”. Recent research shows that a gene that is essential for producing critical immune cells in your gut, responds to the food you eat—specifically leafy green vegetables. So eat your greens!

We now know that these greens are packed with an array of antioxidants and other disease-fighting compounds. Researchers also believe that these vegetables play an important role in controlling food allergies, inflammatory diseases and obesity, and may even prevent the development of bowel cancers (see Walter and Eliza Hall Institute for more on that).

Here’s a nutritional breakdown of the top readily available leafy greens:

Kale:

  • Excellent source of vitamins A, C, and K
  • High in Calcium (for a vegetable)
  • Also supplies Folate and Potassium

Collard Greens:

  • Excellent source of vitamins A, C, and K
  • Good source of Folate, Manganese, and Calcium
  • Cancer preventatvive glucosinolates (glucoraphanin, sinigrin, gluconasturtiian, and glucotropaeolin)
  • Similar in nutrition to Kale but more chewy with a stronger taste

Swiss Chard:

  • Excellent source of vitamins A, C, and K
  • Good source of Magnesium, Manganese, Potassium, Iron and Vitamin E
  • At least 13 different Polyphenol Antioxidants, including Kaempferol and Syringic Acid
  • Unique source of Phytonutrients called Betalains (provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification support)

Turnip Greens:

  • Excellent source of vitamins A, C, and K
  • Good source of Folate, Manganese, Calcium, Copper, Vitamin E and Vitamin B6
  • Bitter taste linked to high Calcium (4x more than cabbage, 2x more than mustard greens)
  • High glucosinolate content (phytonutrients with cancer-preventing properties)

Spinach:

  • Excellent source of vitamins A, C, and K
  • Good source of Manganese, Folate, Iron, Vitamins C, B2, B6 and E
  • Showed evidence of significant protection against the occurrence of aggressive prostate cancer.
  • Glycoglycerolipids help protect the lining of the digestive tract from damage — especially damage related to unwanted inflammation.

Beetroot Greens:

  • Excellent source of vitamins A, C, E and K
  • Good source of Folate, Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorus, Zinc, Vitamins B6

Valuable source of Lutein/Zeaxanthin (good for eye health)

Lettuce:

  • Excellent source of vitamin K. Vitamin K has a potential role in the bone metabolism where it thought to increase bone mass by promoting osteotrophic activity inside the bone cells. It also has established role in Alzheimer’s disease patients by limiting neuronal damage in the brain.
  • Fresh leaves contain good amounts folates and vitamin C. Folates are part of co-factors in the enzyme metabolism required for DNA synthesis and therefore, play a vital role in prevention of the neural tube defects in the baby (fetus) during pregnancy.
  • Vitamin C is a powerful natural antioxidant; regular consumption of foods rich in vitamin C helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge harmful, pro-inflammatory free radicals.

So don’t over look the humble lettuce it’s my favorite green to have in the fridge . . .

How to Choose Leafy Greens

When choosing your greens, you should always look for leaves that are crisp. You want to hear a slight snap when you crack the stems. If they are wilted, soggy, or slimy, keep looking! Ideally, they have been stored in a cool place but watch out for greens stored in ice and the leaves will burn. Greens are loaded with water. Ice can crystallize the water and the greens may end up mushy by the time you get them home.

The leaves should smell fresh and, well, really green!

images-1.jpeg

Colour is also important. If you have a choice, pick the darkest leaves. Don’t worry about a few brown spots, that’s perfectly normal, especially at the farmers markets. However, if the edges are consistently brown throughout all the leaves they are not good. Last but not least, is smell. The leaves should smell fresh and, well, really green!

NOTE: Non-organic greens can be very high in pesticides. This is one of those items that are definitely worth buying organic.  It is to buy from a local grower when possible. Make sure your growers are practicing sustainable farming practices and not using heavy chemical pesticides and herbicides. If you can’t buy from a local farm or farmers market, then make sure to choose organically-certified greens at the grocery store. There’s no skimping on greens they should always be organic where possible.

Eat your greens! Add them to each meal in smoothies, juices, salads, use as wraps and serve with dips.

I do not suggest cooking greens . . . if they are not sweet enough to eat raw, then do not eat them at all. Once you cook leaves you loose the nutrients of them and the healing properties they hold.

Oil and nut free pesto.

So we all love pesto right? But so many of them are heavy with processed oils and sit in your stomach repeating on you…mine is light fresh packed with protein and goes with everything!

This can be used a spread on seed crackers, as a salad dressing, through vegetables, through zoodles or on top of a burger or in a taco! so many uses for this quick and easy pantry staple, my kitchen is never without it…

Raw oil free salad dressings.

These are my favourite salad dressings. . .

  1. Chipotle Dressing – 1 red capsicum, 1/2 clove garlic (optional), 1 zucchini peeled, 1 tbsp tahini, 1 large celery stalk, 1 small lemon, 1tsp sweet paprika, 1/2 cup sunflower seeds – blended till smooth.

  1. Oil Free Pesto – 1 peeled zucchini, 1/2 clove garlic, 1 cup basil, 1

small lemon, 1/2 cup sunflower or pumpkin seeds-blended till

smooth.

  1. Zesty and Creamy– 1 whole orange, 1/2 avocado, 1/2 cup fresh

mint- blended till smooth.

  1. Asian Style -1 small lime, 2 tbs coconut aminos (or tamari), 1/2

chilli (optional) 1 clove garlic (optional) 1 tbs tahini, 1 inch ginger grated, 1 pitted date,  1/4 cup pineapple juice – pestle & mortar together. Add sesame seeds in once it’s made for decoration.

  1. Simple & Easy– juice from 1 small lemon, 2 tbs tahini – whisked together.

  1. Creamy Basil Dressing – 1 avocado, juice 1 small lemon, 1/2 cup basil, 8 brazil nuts – blended till smooth.

  1. Tropical Bliss – 1 mango cheek, 1/2 red capsicum, 1 cup fresh

mint, 1 cup coriander, 1/2 cup sunflower seeds – blended till smooth.

  1. BBQ Sauce – 4 organic soaked & drained semi-dried tomatoes, 2 soaked dates, 1/2 red capsicum, 1 clove garlic, 1/2 cup fresh

coriander, 1/2 cup fresh mint, 1 tsp sweet paprika, 2 fresh

tomatoes, 1 peeled zucchini – blended till chunky or smooth

which ever you like & add some of the date water if you need to

adjust the texture.

  1. Ranch Dressing – 1 cup soaked & drained macadamia nuts, 1

clove garlic, 1/2 cup fresh dill, 2 sprigs thyme, 1 tbs apple cider

vinegar, 2 spring onions, 1/2 lemon – blended till very smooth

adding water if needed. Once blended add thinly slice spring

onions and more chopped chives.

  1. Pina Colada- ½ cup pineapple juice. ¼ cup fresh mint. ½ cup coconut milk, 2 tbs tahini, 1 inch grated ginger, ½ garlic clove, 1 tbs coconut aminos, squeeze lime- blended till smooth.

Of course if you cannot eat garlic or nightshade or spices or nuts substitute these or keep it simple. I do not recommend processed oils or vinegars or salt and pepper – spices are to be kept at a minimum too – oils like olive oil stop the body digesting the food it’s eaten with . . . slowing down the digestion!

Mediation and Breathing techniques for beginners!

My journey with meditation and the power of mindset began about 5 years ago when I needed techniques and changes in my life to cope with health issues and the health of my children. I saw very quickly how strong being mindful was and how I can overcome physical conditions with just my mind. I use mindfulness and mediation in each and every day and today I have a strong sexy brain!

Mediation is one of the biggest tools in my healing and our family’s healing and that I now bring to my clients as it is the key to bring all their health goals together. The science of this ancient art form is that breathing deeply and slowly through your belly helps the vagus nerve (running from the neck down through the diaphragm) to send a signal to your brain to turn up your parasympathetic nervous system i.e. (relax and repair) and turn down your sympathetic nervous system i.e. (fight or flight).

A good breath practice to start with is:

  • Breath in for 3 seconds
  • Hold the breath for 5 seconds
  • Breath out for 5 seconds
  • And repeat for as long as you can.

This breath work can be increased to 5 seconds and 8 seconds when you have become comfortable with the first stage.

What ever way works for you be it, Mickle Therapy, Theta Healing, Mediation Apps, Yoga, Meditation, chanting, reading healing self help books like ‘The Power Of Now’ or walking in nature. Finding your key to unlocking your spiritual practice and calming your ‘chattery’ mind, breathing deeply and calmly will help every aspect of your life.

What is spirituality?

My interoperation is that you become aware that you are your body, mind and energetic body, and that they are all connected and that we are connected to each life force in the universe. And that we are all made from the same atoms and molecules or “star dust” and that nothing happens without a reason as we make out won destiny! it can have everything or nothing to do with religion . . .mediation can help you see and feel this.

A few ticks I have been taught along the way and things I’ve found that help me are:

When you meditate it’s not about having a blank mind with no thoughts, more when a thought arises and it will. Don’t pay it any attention just let it drift through your mind or sweep it away. When you pay attention to thoughts aniexty arises as you live in the future or dwell on the past. Over time your thoughts will be less crowded and you’ll let them pass without any attention. If you can hold a positive clear thought for 17 seconds another positive thought will join it and you will feel happier very quickly. The same goes for a negative thought and downward spirals . . .

Finding time for mediation practice can be hard and I’ve learnt not to make it perfect. It’s better to learn this practice in the noise of work, kids, a play ground or whilst the kids are screaming and running around, learn to be mindful in each day. For a long time I sort perfection to be able to mediate the cables and chants and the incenses . . . ha well that never happened. There will always be noise distractions and “life” Mediation is just to be aware of your body, breath and thoughts. It does not need to be hard . . .stop over thinking it!

Practising in a perfect calm yoga studios or mediation rooms has it’s place and is brilliant for healing and others who are in a higher vibration to you can help lift you up, but if you cannot keep that practice space up once your at home you loose that feeling and get despondent. Which stops mindful-living and being present from becoming a daily life choice.

Instead learn to breath and calm you mind with all that is around you and your practice will be stronger.

I few places I like to mediate or concentrate on my breath are:
mediate in the car before school pick up.
Breath deeply and slowly at the traffic lights.
Lying on the floor while the kids watch movies and meditate.
In the garden even when the kids are screaming and attacking each other with water finding a space to sit with my breath.
Putting on an App just before bed or in the bath.

Raising my legs up the wall and being still is the latest way to get out of my head!

Mediation can be done whilst walking or running or cycling too. Anything that allows your mind to be calm and thoughts to drift in and out without giving them any momentum or power. To walk slowly in the grass noticing the feel on your feet and the sounds and the air on your face can be just powerful as chanting in a circle with enlightened hippies! -I can say that am a chanting hippie at heart hahah!

I hope these tips help you see you can strengthen you practice anywhere at any time.

Blessings in your day and let me know if these techniques helped you x x
