Healing Broth

Having a healing broth in your reptoir will help you in your journey to health!

* Broth
* 4 cloves of garlic
* 1 inch knob of fresh ginger
* 6 mushrooms of choice
* 10 dried shataki mushrooms
* 1/2 green cabbage
* 1 red onion
* 4 carrots
* 3 sticks celery
* Black pepper to taste
* 1 tsp of fresh turmeric
* 1 tbs dulse/kombu/wakame seaweed
* 1 tbs of miso paste/natto (optional)
* 8 cups of filtered water

Additionally add broccoli stems, cauliflower stems, carrot ends, green stems or anything you have, even peels of organic vegetables.

This is a very simple recipe to prepare and should only take five minutes or less. No need to peel if its organic, and chop roughly or even throw in the vegetables whole.

Cook for 45 minutes or until it’s boiled and simmered. Strain the vegetables out leaving the broth. Place in small portion containers and freeze for when you need it or keep in the fridge for the week. Sipping on the broth on its own for an afternoon boast of minerals. Because you are keeping all the nutrients in to one broth and you are not caramelising or baking to create mallards, you can still receive the nutrition from these cooked vegetables.

This broth is an easy way to soothe he gut and gift the body minerals. Sip daily or on a juice cleanse. Please avoid salt, oils and processed stocks to keep it health beneficial.
